Lap Kwan completed a PhD in Molecular Medicine within the Institute of Physiological Chemistry at the University of Ulm (Germany) under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Thomas Wirth. He joined the Weber lab in 2019 as a post-doctoral scientist where his main focus is to elucidate the molecular consequences of Mcl1 deletion in hepatocytes and the mechanism by which this promotes liver tumorigenesis.
