Born and raised in the french part of Switzerland, I studied Biomedicine at the University of Fribourg and pursued my studies at the University of Zurich for my master in Biomedicine, completed with a minor in Bioinformatics. My master thesis focused on the metastasis progression at hypobaric conditions in the lab of Prof. Max Gassmann. And thereafter, I had the great opportunity to join Prof. Lopes' and Prof. Weber's groups for my PhD which will investigate the DNA replication stress in mouse liver hyperproliferation and tumorigenesis. Outside of the lab, I still aim for discoveries through philosophy, mountain sports (hiking, climbing) and cooking.
