Born and raised in Rome (Italy), I studied Biotechnology (BSc) and Genetics and Molecular Biology (MSc) at Sapienza University of Rome. Over the last year of my Master thesis, I joined the lab of Prof. M. Pellegrini, at the Department of Molecular, Cell and Developmental Biology at University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), for a 3-months internship. My collaboration project mainly focused on performing ATAC Sequencing and COMBO RNA Sequencing on IV stage metastatic melanoma primary cell lines. In December 2019, I started my PhD in the Sartori group, investigating structure-function relationships of the human CtIP protein in physiology and disease.
